Welcome to eMetrology!

Our new site is a free resources to help professionals and students further their metrology knowledge. It’s a collection of measurement resources that we’ve accumulated over many decades of working and teaching in these fields.

When you have a measurement question, you can, of course, search Google or ask an AI agent, and you’ll get a massive amount of information in response. The difficulty is in knowing which answers are pertinent, which have built-in biases, and which ones are downright incorrect.

Our goal with eMetrology is to present what we have found to be the most helpful resources—not comprehensive lists, just useful, vetted information that will get you going in the right direction.

The site is growing, and you can help shape the site to be the most useful for you. What kinds of material would you like to see here? Do you have specific measurement questions? Please email us and we will do our best to fill in the blanks. It’s a work in progress, and with your help we hope to build a valuable resource for all things metrology!
